First Day of Snowboarding For The Season

One small ski area was the first to open, so we took advantage of it and boarded yesterday. It's 100 miles from here - but a beautiful drive. Shane came with us - but didn't have his gear, so he went retro with jeans and a MN shirt to make Grandpa happy! Nice to get on the slopes and tell our muscles what to expect in the coming months. Nice blue skies and warm. Made it back into town in time to have a few pints at our favorite local brewery.
