What's Less Fun Than Getting A Root Canal?

Selling a house in a buyers market. Without a doubt. It may not be a fair comparison, because when I got my root canal done the tooth was in the dentist's hand. I had just had it knocked out. He drilled it out before he transplanted it back into my gums. So I watched him do it. It wasn't much fun.

But selling our house in a buyers market is not something you want to do instead. Every few weeks you drop the price another ten grand. Then you offer up extra commission to the buying-side agent. Then you receive offers that are insanely low while demanding everything under the sun. At least with the root canal they put you out with laughing gas. Our realtor is a great guy, a real pro, very experienced. But even he didn't offer us Nitrus Oxide. Even though we're paying full commission. Go figure.

So if you are ever on a game show and lose, and they give you the choice of a root canal or selling your home in a buyers market, take the root canal. With gas.
